This figure is as of 8 am on Sunday. State Police informed in internet media that online applications were invited for this recruitment from 1st October. The last date for application was 31 October. Of these posts, 932 are male, 311 female and 91 driver are male constables. The youth have shown great enthusiasm for the recruitment.
Since the police had issued the notification earlier, hence the applications continued even during the model code of conduct, it didn’t stop. Now the next process of recruitment will start. The constable post will be filled on regular basis but will get the pay scale equivalent to that of a regular police employee after eight years of service.
