Commanding Officer Colonel Sunit Shankta (Army Wing) conducted the examination for NCC B certificate on behalf of 7 HP (I) NCC Company Headquarters Shimla on Sunday at St. Edwards School Shimla. In this examination registered under NCC Battalion Rampur and NCC Company Shimla PG Colleges Rampur, Seema College Rohru, Saraswati Nagar College, Pharmacy College Rohru, Government College Nirmand, Government College Ani, Government College Reckongpeo and Center of Excellence Sanjauli, Shimla and Rampur registered under Shimla. 289 NCC cadets from Rajiv Gandhi Government College Chaura Maidan (Kotshera), Government College Suni, RK MV College Shimla and APG Shimla University appeared in the examination. 124 cadets participated in the Senior Division (SW) and 165 in the Senior Wing (SW). The examination was conducted in the grounds of St. Edwards School. Brigadier Manoj Khanduri, Group Commander of NCC Shimla Headquarters, took stock of the examination by reaching the examination center for examination. The cadets were given entry to the examination center after thermal screening and sanitisation, following the guidelines related to prevention from corona. This exam was conducted in two sessions. First of all, three hours of written examination based on theory was held in the morning session and after that, on behalf of the army officers, JCOs, NCO / PI staff, examiners and exam presiding officers conducted practical related drills, map reading, army skills, warfare in the second session. Took skill test of cadets. In the practical examination, all the cadets showed their skills in drill, map reading, army skills, combat skills and weapon handling in front of the military officers and examiners for better performance in the examination. On this occasion Subedar Mohammad Afroz, Naib Subedar Pratap Singh, Havildar Mahendra Singh, Havaldar Chetan Prakash, Havildar Vipul, Havaldar Kuldeep, Aino Left. Dr. Lakshmi, Left. Dr. Poonam Verma, Left. Rohit, CTO Prof. Pyaar Singh Thakur and CTO Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Office Assistants Manoj and Rakesh Kumar were present.
