Along with the whole country, in Himachal Pradesh too, Christmas Day was celebrated with pomp and gaiety. A prayer meeting was also organized at the historic Christ Church Ridge in Shimla at 11 am in which people of Christian faith participated enthusiastically and were remembered on the birthday of Jesus Christ. Also praying to Jesus Christ to get rid of the covid epidemic soon. Prayers were also offered. Christ Church’s pastor Sohan Lal said that on the occasion of Christmas, Jesus Christ has been remembered with the observance of covid rules and prayed that the government should be able to deal with the new variant of covid, Omicron and People should get rid of this epidemic soon. For the last two years, the whole of humanity is battling with the epidemic and now its new variant Omicron is also spreading rapidly. The whole church is decorated on Christmas and since last two days different programs are also being organized in the church.
