Rain looms large over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed rally in the capital Shimla on May 31. The weather is forecasted to remain bad on May 31 in many areas of the state including Shimla. On May 30, a yellow alert of rain, thunderstorm and hailstorm has been issued in eight central and high hilly districts Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Mandi, Kullu, Chamba, Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti.
Meteorological Center Shimla has expressed the possibility of changing the weather in the state due to the activity of western disturbances. On Friday, there was sunshine in all the areas of the state including the capital Shimla. The maximum temperature has started climbing again in the plain districts of Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Kangra.
On Friday, the maximum temperature in these districts was recorded in the range of 34 to 38 degree Celsius. Director of Meteorological Center Shimla Surendra Pal said that till May 31, the weather is forecast to remain bad in the state. During this, there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms in many areas.
