A pickup trolley fell into a ditch under the district’s police station Chuvadi. Two women died in the accident. Apart from this, about 27 people have been injured. These include all other women except the driver. Aarti Devi and Asha Devi, residents of the local village, have died in the accident. Apart from this, seven seriously injured women have been referred to Tanda Medical College and Hospital. It is being told that these women were going to attend a condolence meeting in Saraiyan village. This accident has come to the fore in Sarog Nala near Bharari. Local people and police started relief and rescue operations. The administration had already made preparations to refer the seriously injured people to Chamba and Tanda. As soon as the incident was reported, the team of Bakloh outpost under police station Chuwadi reached the spot and rescue was started. 108 ambulances were dispatched from Civil Hospital Chuvadi to bring the injured. Local people also came forward in the rescue operation. There was an atmosphere of chaos in Chuvadi Hospital too. All the staff of the hospital started treating the injured in the accident.
