This has been mentioned in the chargesheet filed by the Gagal police station in the Kangra court. On Friday, the police filed a charge sheet against 91 people including 70 candidates and 20 touts. The father of a candidate who gave the paper has also been made an accused. This has been confirmed by Madhusudan Sharma, the head of the SIT probing the case. After filing the charge sheet, the police also released its press note. According to Madhusudan, in the charge sheet, Sudhir, a paper cutter of a printing press located in NCR (Delhi), has been described as the mastermind.
The opposition is making the issue of no CBI investigationChief Minister Jai Ram Thakur canceled the written examination after the paper leak case came to light. Following pressure from the opposition, the Chief Minister had in May announced a CBI inquiry into the matter, but the CBI probe has not started yet. Amidst the announcement of the CBI investigation, the police continued to investigate and now the charge sheet has also been filed. The opposition is constantly raising questions on the government that it was misled in the matter of CBI investigation of the case. The government deliberately did not get the matter probed by the CBI.
