An attempt was made to take cash by breaking into the ATM of Punjab National Bank located at Shimla Khalini Chowk, but could not take the cash by breaking the ATM of the vicious crook. The thief tried to break the machine with an iron road, but the police caught the thief with great care and put him behind the bars.Shimla Police is investigating thoroughly whether there is any other ATM thief gang along with this thief who is involved in thefts happening in ATMs.Police have started investigation at New Shimla police station under these sections (FIR No. 10/22 u/s 380, 511 IPC & 03 PDP Act) by arresting the vicious crook for stealing ATM by uprooting the ATM.
