Taking an important decision by the state government on Wednesday, the ban on transfers within the state has been removed, according to the information released from the state secretariat, in view of the adverse situation arising due to the spread of Covid-19 epidemic. Unnecessary movement and general transfer of officers/employees and public representatives, including transfers, were banned in the state, and many relaxations were given due to other conditions. Now, after a careful analysis of the situation once the situation returns to normal, it has been decided to withdraw the instructions issued by the State Government through the above referred letters. However, restrictions on general transfers will remain in force and transfer can be ordered with the approval of the competent authority only in certain special circumstances.
