There is increased news for contract employees in the state. In the JCC meeting, notifications of decisions regarding contract employees, daily wagers and part-time workers have been issued. According to the notification issued by the Personnel Department, it has been decided to reduce the regularization service of contract employees from three to two years. In such a situation, all the heads of departments have been instructed to regularize the services of contract employees who have completed two years of regular service on 30 September 2021. Similarly, the period of regularization of daily wage earners has been reduced from five to four years. The government has also notified a policy to make part-time employees daily wage earners. The service period for making part-time employees daily wage earners in all departments has also been reduced by one year. The service period for making part-time employees as daily wage earners has been increased from eight to seven years. Such employees who have completed seven years of service on 30 September will become daily wage earners.
