A bloody clash broke out between SFI and ABVP workers at Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) on Tuesday. During the fight, kicks and punches, sticks and sticks were used. Sharp weapons were also waved. Nine activists of both the student organizations have been injured in the incident, out of which four have sustained serious injuries. Considering the sensitivity of the matter, heavy police force has been deployed in the HPU campus.
This bloody clash has taken place outside the Legal Department of HPU. It is being told that during the address to connect the new students to the organization in the law department’s class, there was a debate between the two groups on some issue. After the end of the class, at around 12:00, the workers of both the groups were armed with sticks, rods and sharp weapons and started fighting. The police reached the spot and brought the situation under control after hard work. Weapons were seized and the injured were given treatment at the primary health centre. The video of this entire incident is also going viral.
After the violence, the SFI and the ABVP held a rally and held a meeting, blaming each other for the incident. Both the organizations have also complained to the police. Akash Negi, president of ABVP’s university unit, has alleged that SFI activists attacked with weapons. Two of his workers have suffered serious injuries, while three have been injured. SFI’s university unit secretary Vivek Raj has alleged that ABVP workers misbehaved in the class. After leaving class, they were already ready with weapons outside. He attacked as soon as he got the chance. Four SFI workers have sustained serious injuries.
Based on the complaint given by both the student organizations, a cross FIR has been registered at the Baluganj police station. Police force has been deployed in HPU campus. The police is investigating the case.
