Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the system of education and education should be such that our future generations should be inspired to move ahead with their culture, rites, civilization and values of life. He said this in his address during the All India Teacher Award Ceremony “Shiksha Bhushan” organized by All India National Educational Federation here today. The Chief Minister said that teachers are nation builders and guides of the society. Teachers make the students character who play a leading role in nation building by becoming ideal citizens. Appreciating the All India National Educational Federation for organizing the Teacher Award Ceremony, he said that the federation is playing an important role in the spread of education. The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is progressing continuously in the direction of attaining its form of Vishwa Guru by cherishing its cultural values and sanskars. Many effective steps have been taken in the direction of providing quality education to the students from elementary education to university level. The innovative efforts made in the field of education in the state have been appreciated at the national level. The state government has launched several ambitious schemes to enhance the quality of education in the state and today Himachal is one of the most developed states in the field of education.
