On behalf of the computer science and engineering department of APG Shimla University under the aegis head of school engineer Rehan Khan, chairperson of the department engineer Ayushi Nainwal, and renowned technical experts of cloud computing from Ocean Tech Pvt. Ltd. conducted a workshop on cloud computing here on Monday in the varsity auditorium. The experts introduced the APG varsity students about cloud computing. The Vice-Chancellor of APG Shimla University, Prof. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan attended the workshop as a chief guest and he addressed the students that today cloud computing technology has become indispensable in all walks of life for balanced development with generating human resources and generating employment as well. “Cloud computing technology is the reclamation of time as clouding computing is essential for tomorrow’s careers and for employees with technical skills training and knowledge of cloud technologies are the most competitive in the job market in almost every industry- now and in the future”, said Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan while addressing the students. The cloud computing experts of Ocean Tech Pvt. Ltd. Told the students during the workshop that due to easy computation, data can be stored in a more efficient way in cloud computing. They say that even big businesses are getting attracted towards cloud computing technologies in the era of information technology and digital era. “Cloud computing is firmly entrenched in all aspects of business and home lives, and increasing numbers of business are actively seeking out qualified and experienced cloud experts across myriad domains including engineering, database management, programming, development, security and analytics, experts told the students. Cloud computing requires hardware and software skills for the users, for this, the users should only be able to use the cloud computing technology system and interface software, which is as easy as running a web browser, experts said. The experts of cloud computing also threw light on the technology related to Microsoft windows and the technology related to the website. APG varsity chief advisor and veteran engineer Suman Vikrant (former engineer-in chief), registrar Balram Jha, Prof. Anil Kumar Pal, the dean academics of APG varsity, chairpersons, deans, professors of APG varsity were present in the workshop. Engineer Rehan Khan and engineer Ayushi Nainwal concluded the workshop with vote of thanks and thanked all the cloud computing experts, chief guest, students and professors to attend the workshop.
