The corona pandemic has changed the way we study and teach. Schools were closed, so online education was done. One Class One TV channel has been announced in the Union Budget under PM E Vidya Yojana. The number of TV channels to be broadcast on TV has been increased from 12 to 200. Divyang students will be able to get education by taking classes through On Air Education i.e. TV. There are 6751 Divyang students in Himachal. This announcement will also prepare the infrastructure for the new education policy. Under the education policy, it is mandatory for 40 percent of the curriculum to be digital. The states which will prepare the curriculum under the new education policy, 40 percent of it will be digital. The facility of One Nation One Platform, One Class One Channel was started under the Prime Minister’s e-Vidya program. In Himachal, the state already has electricity and internet facility to make arrangements for digital education in the school class room itself. Is. Himachal has already made digital classrooms for digital education. There are 15,323 schools in the state. Of these, more than 95 percent of the schools have electricity. There are 10574 primary schools in Himachal. Of these, 10,206 have electricity. Similarly, out of 1948 middle schools, 1805 have electricity. Out of 933 secondary schools, 780 and higher secondary schools are numbered 1868, out of which there is electricity in 1866. During the Corona period, the Himachal Education Department started the work of teaching children through Doordarshan Kendra Shimla and Jio TV. Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan has prepared a separate syllabus. Under the new education policy, if 40 percent of the curriculum will be digital, then there will be no problem in future.
