Police has registered three separate cases against ABVP, SFI and NSUI student organizations for writing and putting up poster and banners without permission in the capital Shimla. These cases have been registered in Chhota Shimla, Lakkar Bazar Chowki and Summerhill station. Following the orders of the State High Court, the police has registered these cases for wall writing in addition to illegal hoardings and banners in the city. The first case has been registered in Chhota Shimla police station. Hoardings, posters of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad were put up in front of the Swaraswati Vidya Mandir school premises near Vikasnagar car parking.
A national level convention of ABVP was held here last week. No permission was taken from the administration for wall writing and hoarding. The police has registered a case against ABVP for doing so.
The second case has been registered at Lakkar Bazar post. A police team has registered a case for putting up posters of ABVP, SFI and NSUI on government property near Sanjauli College without permission. The third case has been registered at Summerhill outpost. A case has been registered for wall painting and illegally putting up posters in HPU campus, Chaura Maidan. All three student organizations have been nominated. Although this hoarding and wall writing is from a long time ago. Police have now registered cases against them.
