This matter was included in the agenda in the last cabinet meeting, but it could not be discussed. The state government is contemplating to make a policy for outsourced employees. In this regard, a meeting of the Chairman of the Cabinet Sub Committee and Jal Shakti Minister Mahendra Singh has been held in Mandi with the employees.
In such a situation, this matter can also be brought to the cabinet. The Urban Development Department has prepared a proposal to implement the Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme in the state. This matter can also be brought up for approval in the cabinet meeting. Municipal Corporation elections are to be held within two months of Shimla Municipal Corporation. A strategy can be made in the cabinet regarding this. Apart from this, approval can also be given to fill vacant posts in many departments.
At the same time, keeping in mind the suggestions put before the sub-committee on Friday, the committee will recommend and work will be done to provide proper relief to the affected in the cabinet meeting. He also directed the officials of National Highway Authority to take care of the minor problems of the local people wherever construction works are being carried out so that they do not face any kind of inconvenience.
