The incident that came to light in Chamba district on Sunday has put humanity to shame. In the freezing cold outside a house in New Bus Stand, someone left a newborn baby in a plastic tub because it is a girl. In this context, when Child Line Chamba got information, the team has rescued it with the help of police. This abominable act, which has shamed Devbhoomi Himachal, has raised eyebrows. Child Line Chamba District Coordinator Kapil Sharma said that at 6:00 am on Sunday, the police and Childline got information that a person outside the house adjoining the new bus stand. Someone has left, leaving the newborn in a plastic tub. On receiving the information, the police team led by Head Constable Gas Lal and Childline Coordinator Kapil Sharma reached the spot and found that the newborn baby was a baby girl who was left outside the house adjacent to the new bus stand by some unknown person. The girl was immediately brought to the Medical College Chamba and where she has been admitted. The condition of the girl is stable at present. Kapil Sharma said that now further action will be taken on the basis of recommendation of Child Welfare Committee Chamba.
