In order to promote sports in Himachal Pradesh, the Union Sports Ministry has approved construction of multipurpose hall at Bangana in district Una with an investment of Rs 4.5 crore and Khelo India Center in all the 12 districts. Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur said that synthetic tracks, sports complexes, coaching centers would be constructed in the districts under Khelo India Center by spending five lakh rupees in every district. Sports Complex Luhnu in Bilaspur, DYSSO Ground in Chamba, Synthetic Track in Hamirpur, Sports Complex in Dharamsala, State Coaching Center in Kaza, Boxing Coaching Center in Reckong Peo, Sports Complex in Kullu at Dhalpur Maidan, State Coaching Center in Mandi, Rohru in Shimla This amount will be spent on Indoor/Outdoor Stadium, State Coaching Center at Nahan, State Coaching Center at Solan and Indira Stadium in Una.
