Himachal Pradesh Education Department has issued rules to recruit eight thousand part time multitask workers. A three-member committee headed by the SDM will select the multi task workers. Local people will get priority in recruitment. Application on plain paper and application of necessary certificates will be with the Block Education Officer or District Deputy Director. Apart from the selected candidate, a waiting list of two candidates will be prepared on merit basis in each school.Workers will be selected on the basis of 38 marks. They will be given an honorarium of Rs 5625 per month for ten months. The appointments will be done through SMC. The selected workers will not have the right to claim for regularization or policy making. All the schools have been asked to issue advertisement regarding the vacant posts before the recruitment. Under rule seven, the committee headed by the sub-divisional officer will make the recruitments. The Block Development Officer or the principal or headmaster of the concerned school has been made the member secretary of this committee.The chairman of the school management committee has been made a member. This three-member committee will make the selection. Its notification has been issued by the Principal Secretary Education Rajnish Kumar. The part time multitask workers recruitment will be based on 38 marks. Selection will be done on merit basis.Applicants whose families will not have anyone in government jobs will be given priority in recruitment. Eight marks have been fixed on the basis of distance from home to school. Applicants have to bring certificate from Gram Panchayats or Executive Officer for this.Eight marks will be given to the local resident of the area where the school is located. People from other areas will get two to six marks. Eight marks will be given to the eighth class pass applicant and five marks to the fifth class pass. Widow orphans and differently-abled will get eight marks.Five marks will be given to the applicants living in extreme conditions. A woman who lives separately from her husband will get three marks. If land is donated by the family of an applicant to a government school, they will also get eight marks. Three marks will be given to the reserved category applicants. Applicant belonging to unemployed family will also get three marks.
