Various types of competitions and dramas will be organized for women in the Winter Carnival, through which the costumes and culture of the district will be showcased. This was stated by Education, Art, Language and Culture Minister Govind Singh Thakur while presiding over a meeting organized in Manali today with representatives of 78 Mahila Mandals and other stakeholders regarding the preparations for the Winter Carnival. Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur said during the Winter Carnival. On January 3, hundreds of women from Right Bank wearing black pattu and traditional jewelery will participate in the Kullavi Naati on Mall Road in Manali. Similarly, the women of the Left will be seen performing Naati in white pattu on January 5. In the meeting held regarding the performance of the Winter Carnival and Nati, there was a deep discussion and with the consent of the Mahila Mandals, the program of the Naati was decided. The minister said that a different theme would be given for the natis. For this, he asked the Block Development Officer to finalize the theme by December 10.
