Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the virtual foundation stone of National Importance Renuka Dam on 27th December on completion of four years tenure of Himachal Pradesh Government. During the second ground breaking of the Global Investors’ Meet to be held in Mandi, PM Modi will also announce the new energy policy of the state.
State Energy Minister Sukhram Chaudhary gave this information in a conversation with journalists at the state secretariat on Thursday. The construction work of Renuka Dam will start in the year 2022. An investment of seven thousand crores has to be made on this. Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are the beneficiary states of this project.
