Neeraj Thakur also has two hotels in Lambalu and Bohani and a luxurious cottage in Chandigarh. There are also many luxury vehicles. According to sources, the entire business of spurious liquor was operated from there.
Now the SIT is engaged in scouting the movable and immovable properties of Neeraj and former NSUI district president Praveen Kumar. Transactions of bank accounts and lockers are being checked. Apart from this, a record has also been sought from the Revenue Department as to how much land property is owned by both of them. On Sunday also, inside the Hamirpur police station, the SIT has asked liquor businessman Neeraj Thakur about his relation with the liquor factory operator operating in Panyala, Hamirpur. Apart from liquor, other business and sources of income have also been inquired.
