The President’s Color Award ceremony was organized on the historic ridge courtesy of the Police Department. On this occasion, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur congratulated the State Police for receiving the Presidential Award by the President of India for its remarkable services.Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu said that the President’s Color is not only an award but it is also a responsibility, which Himachal Pradesh Police has to fulfill with more honesty, efficiency and discipline. Every jawan of police is determined for the security of Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh and to maintain peace here. He thanked the Governor for conferring the President’s Color Award.
