Himachal Pradesh’s biggest and most prestigious cricket league, the Pro Himachal Premium Cricket League (Pro HPCL), has officially opened registrations for its third season. The excitement among cricket players across the state is at an all-time high, as this season will feature only Himachali players, making it a truly ‘Himachali Edition’ of the tournament.

Last year, over 750 players registered for the league, and this time, the enthusiasm is even greater. Organizers expect a significant increase in registrations, making it the biggest season yet.

The winner of this season will receive a grand cash prize of ₹9 lakh, while the runner-up will be awarded ₹4 lakh. In total, ₹40 lakh worth of prizes will be given in Pro HPCL Season 3.

The registration fee is ₹650, and interested players can register by visiting www.prohpcl.com before the deadline of February 25.

After the registration process, trials will be conducted for all players, where franchise owners will personally attend and shortlist players for their teams. This will be followed by the auction, where every registered player will be auctioned for bidding by different franchises. Players are advised to train and practice well to ensure they make an impression on the franchise owners and secure their place in the league.

This season, all matches will be played at our own state-of-the-art cricket ground under construction in Shimla, which will be the first stadium in the region to host day and night matches.”
