Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education will now give grant up to Rs 50,000 to schools for promoting sports and cultural activities. Earlier this grant amount was Rs 20,000. This amount is given to those schools where sports, cultural, green environment and other programs are organized. In order to promote such programs, the Board of School Education has now increased this grant amount. School Education Board President Dr. Suresh Kumar Soni informed that the grant amount given to private and government schools affiliated to the Board of Education has been increased. Now an amount of Rs 50,000 will be given to the schools.
