Seven more corona positive patients died in Himachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours. A 10-year-old girl from district Shimla and a 22-year-old youth from Kangra are also among the dead. The death toll of corona infected in the state has now reached 4033. On Monday, samples of 7404 people were taken for the investigation of corona, out of which 714 people have come positive. 1554 patients have also become healthy. There are now 5431 active cases in the state.
Himachal Pradesh’s medical colleges and hospitals will have 3 to 4 routine operations per day. This decision has been taken so that the number of patients admitted in the wards does not increase. Eye, bone and stone operations were closed in hospitals since January. The third wave of corona has not calmed down in the state yet. More than five hundred people are getting corona infected every day. The death toll is also increasing continuously. In such a situation, the health department does not want to give much relaxation. The government has instructed the hospital managements that it is necessary to take strict action for those who meet in the wards after the operation of the patients.Security guards have been asked to be posted at the gates of the wards. There should not be too much crowd of patients outside the OPD. People should not roam around the hospital premises unnecessarily. It is noteworthy that the state government has restored all operations in medical colleges and zonal hospitals. Following the Corona rules, it has been said to give the date of operation to the patients. Health Secretary Amitabh Awasthi said that medical colleges and zonal hospitals have started normal operations. For this, guidelines have also been issued to the hospital managements.
