Just 13 year old, Himachal’s daughter Shreya Lohia has been awarded the Prime Minister’s National Child Award-2022. Shreya has received this award in the sports category. She is a motor sports player and has proved her skills in kart racing competitions at a young age in the country and abroad. Shreya is a resident of Mahadev village of Sundernagar tehsil of Mandi district. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday interacted with the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award (PMRBP) winners for the years 2022 and 2021 using blockchain technology through video conferencing and presented them with digital certificates. Each award winner was presented with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh each and digital certificates. The cash prize amount was directly transferred to the account of the prize winners.
Professional Young Indian Girl Karting Racer who competes in National Karting Championships in India and abroad . She developed a passion for driving at the age of 9. Trying to make a mark in Indian, she joined a racing school in Bangalore. Go-kart tracks are around 1.2km long with complex bends and sharp turns.To get a practice on that track she had to go to Banglore and other places oftenly.
At just 13, Shriya has achieved more than anyone can imagine.
