SJVNL Corporate Headquarters building in Shimla receives the Best Infrastructure Project Award

SJVNL’s Corporate Headquarters Building Shimla was awarded the best infrastructure project and for its construction Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman and Managing Director of SJVNL was awarded by Concrete Institute of India Shimla Centre. The Institute in association with UltraTech Cement Company presented a total of 68 awards for the year 2021. Nand Lal was conferred this award for his contribution in the construction of State-of-the-Art Corporate Headquarters building of SJVNL Shakti Sadan at Shanan Shimla. The awards were presented by Architect VPS Jaswal, President, Indian Concrete Institute Shimla Center for Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, Vaibhav Gupta, Regional Head, UltraTech Cement, Raj Kumar Verma, CEO, Sai Engineering & Foundation along with other members. In the program organized on Sunday, VPS Jaswal said that there is a need for new thinking and more productive construction in limited cost. SJVNL’s Corporate Headquarters at Shanan exemplifies the ideal test of building design. That is why it has also won the award for Best Built Infrastructure Project in Himachal Pradesh. Ajay Sharma, Assistant Manager, Arch Manager in SJVNL Interior Architecture Design and Engineering Execution Team Arch Xtkal Verma, Junior Officer Arch R Balbir Singh and Chief General Manager Dinesh Sapru, Senior Assistant General Manager Rajesh Chandel also received the award. Awarded to Rampur Hydro Power Station (412 MW) in the Best Serviceable Infrastructure Projects category. Awarded to Sushil Kumar Sharma, Director (Power), SJVNL, Manoj Kumar, Chief General Manager, for excellence in individual contribution. Concrete Technologist Award and Young Concrete Technologist Award to Director (Civil) SP Bansal and HOP Luhri Project Roshan Lal Negi. Director cum Principal Jawaharlal Nehru Government Engineering College Sundernagar Prof. for excellence in technical education. SP Guleria was rewarded. Apart from these, R Uday Bhat of Delhi was awarded for architectural design and Deepak Thakur for structural design. Apart from these, award was given to MS Era Construction Company of Haryana Gurugram in the contractor category for the construction of the project.
