The students of a private dental college in Solan reached the doors of the administration on Thursday to protest against the shortage of teachers. The students put forth the problems being faced by the college in front of ADC Solan and raised their demand to take immediate action. ADC Solan Zafar Iqbal assured the students of appropriate action. According to Sneha Mishra, an intern student of the college, the college administration first fired some teachers and then did not appoint any teacher in their place. Students say that the study of medicine is a professional study, for which experienced and senior doctors are needed. The college administration is not addressing the shortage of teachers. The principal of the college visits the college once or twice a week. No response was received from the college administration even after repeatedly filing complaints. So the students have started worrying about their studies. After which on Wednesday, these future doctors raised slogans against their college administration and demanded early appointment of teachers and on Thursday put the matter before the administration. On the other hand, the HOD expelled from the college also opened a front against the administration. In Solan, three HODs held a press conference and made many serious allegations against the college administration.
