The stalled development work in Jubbal-Navar-Kotkhai will be accelerated. This was stated by the MLA of Jubbal-Nawar-Kotkhai, Rohit Thakur in the public address during the public gratitude program organized in Kharla, Dharada and Pujarli No. 4 Panchayats of Navar. Rohit Thakur said that the enlightened people of Jubbal-Navar-Kotkhai have a distinct identity in the whole of Himachal for their maturity. He thanked the people of Kharla, Dharada and Pujarli No 4 for their blessings in the by-election. Rohit Thakur said that during the previous Congress tenure, unprecedented development has taken place in the field of horticulture, roads, education and health in every panchayat of Navar region. A budget provision of Rs.52 crore was made for construction of 22 KVA Electricity Control Centre, irrigation schemes and Rs.52 crore for various roads. He said that the construction of apple grading and packaging center at Tutupani at a cost of ₹6.69 crore is being done under the World Bank funded Horticulture Development Project of ₹1134 crore during the pre-Congress tenure, whose construction work would be expedited. He said that the Congress was committed to bring about development with a holistic and equitable approach. For the construction of roads, approval will be given to the DPR pending for the last four years and the work of tortoise-driven roads will be accelerated. Rohit Thakur said that the people have given a clear message to the BJP in the semi-finals that the Congress party will return to power with a huge majority in the 2022 assembly elections. Expressing gratitude, Rohit Thakur described the victory of the Congress party as the fruit of the struggle and hard work of all the workers.
