Muskan Negi, the best visually impaired singer and the brand ambassador of Umang Foundation, won the title of ‘Golden Voice’ by winning the first prize at the national competition in Delhi. The organizers of the Golden Voice competition in the form of video clips from visually impaired singers from across the country in September Entries were requested. More than 200 people took part in the competition. A total of 5 people reached the final round, out of which 2 from Madhya Pradesh, 1-1 from Rajasthan and Delhi and Muskan from Himachal were included. President of Umang Foundation Prof. Ajay Srivastava said that the National Association for the Blind (NAB) and Golden Shine Trust, the country’s largest organization of visually impaired persons, organized this event at the Indian Council for Cultural Relations Auditorium in Delhi. In this mega event, Muskan Negi won the hearts of the audience by singing a total of five songs one after the other. National Award winner and NAB General Secretary Prashant Ranjan honored Muskaan with the title of ‘Golden Voice’ and a check of Rs 51,000. Muskaan presented “Yeh Moh-Moh Ke” besides “Jubaan Par Laga-Laga Re, Namak Ishq Ka”. Threads, get tangled with your fingers”; Singing “Taare Hai Baraati, Chandni Hai Yeh Baaraat” and “Mahi Ve Mohabbatein Sachiyan Ne, Mangda Naseeba Kuch Hore” created a huge buzz in the auditorium. According to Prashant Ranjan, the convener of the program and General Secretary of NAB, all the members of the jury were enamored of Muskaan’s talent. In the competition, Priyanshu Gaur of Rajasthan stood second and Mansi Pandey of Indore stood third.
