During the 13th session of the 13th Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh, 5 sittings were held. Winter session was organized from 10 to 15 December in the Vidhan Sabha located at Tapovan, Dharamsala. The proceedings of the session which lasted till Wednesday lasted 27 hours and 30 minutes. On December 13, the proceedings of the House continued till 9.15 pm, which is a record in itself. A total of 281 starred and 138 unstarred questions were asked during this session. 1 subject under Rule-61, 5 subjects under Rule-62 and 7 proposals under Rule 130 were discussed. Apart from this, 3 private resolutions were presented under Rule-101. Apart from this, 5 Government Bills were also re-introduced and discussed in the House. Out of these, amendment proposals were given on 3 bills, after that the bill was passed by the House. On the last day of the session, CM Jai Ram Thakur thanked everyone for the successful conduct of the session. The Leader of Opposition also thanked everyone. Speaker Vipin Parmar also thanked everyone. He said that during the session, many important precautionary steps were taken as before to keep everyone safe from the infection of corona epidemic. For the members to adopt social distancing in the House, their seat was separated by a 6 feet high polycarbonate seat. Jai Ram Thakur said that during the session, to avoid corona infection, issued by the state and central government from time to time. The SOP was followed in letter and spirit. Assembly Secretariat Tapovan premises were completely sanitized before the session, people were instructed to maintain face masks and social distance. He congratulated CM Jai Ram Thakur on the completion of four years of the present government.
