The process of returning the children of Himachal trapped in Ukraine has started. According to the information, 32 students of the state trapped in Ukraine reached Himachal on Sunday. The concerned students have arrived from Ukraine via Delhi Romania. In this, 2 girl students of district Shimla were also included. Both the girls reached Shimla by Volvo bus from Delhi late in the evening. On reaching Shimla, she shared her experience and told that she is studying fourth semester of BAPS at Bukoverian Estate University in Western Region of Ukraine but the situation there is not as bad as it is in Eastern Region. He said that even though there is a war between Ukraine and Russia, its effect is not being seen in the Western region.India’s flag being put in buses to bring it to the airportKashish Sharma and Oshima, a student who returned from Ukraine to Shimla, said that due to the efforts of the Government of India, the Ambassador of India to Ukraine and the government there is constantly trying to bring back the Indian students safely. He told that the flag of India is being installed in the buses to bring them to the airport. After putting up the flag, even the army there is not stopping the buses for checking. After that Air India flight is going to fly to Delhi. After seeing the flag of India, students are being evacuated on priority basis. Kashish told that she is of Theog. She is a student of the fourth semester of MBBS in Ukraine. He told that now he is worried about the degree. However, she is also happy that she has returned safely. Ashima said that MBBS studies in Ukraine are cheaper than private colleges in Himachal. where she was living, Things are fine there. Glad to have returned home safely. She is a student of MBBS first year.3 students went home by taxiThe fear of bombing in war-torn Ukraine can also be seen on the face. These students from Ukraine reached Delhi and Mumbai with the help of Indian Embassy. The work to bring the students started at 9 am from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. Firstly the students were brought to Himachal Bhawan and provided bathing facilities. After feeding the students from ISBT to their destinations Shimla, Kangra, Chamba, Una, Arrangements were made to send them to Hamirpur and Mandi. It should be noted that 17 of the students from Himachal stranded in Ukraine had reached Mumbai and 15 at Delhi airport. Out of these, 3 students from Shimla came home by taxi. Teams of officers and employees were engaged in this work for the whole day to make proper arrangements for bringing the students and sending them home on behalf of the Office of the Resident Commissioner of the state located in Delhi. The students were sent to their respective places in the buses of Transport Corporation and Tourism Development Corporation. Students were sent to Shimla and Una and other places at 11.30 am.Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur had announced in the Vidhan Sabha on Saturday to provide free transport facility to the students returning from Ukraine. After this, all the students were arranged by the Office of the Residential Commissioner to first travel to Himachal Bhawan and then to their destinations by bus service.
