There was a massive explosion in a vehicle on Friday night at the Zari police post of Manikarn Ghati in Kullu district. The explosion was so loud that its sound was heard up to five kilometers of the valley. After the information, ASP Kullu Sagar Chand and DSP Mohan Rawat Kullu reached the spot at 2 pm and sealed the entire area. It is not yet clear what caused the explosion. Considering the seriousness of the blast, a forensic team has been called from Mandi.
It is being told that a taxi car was completely damaged in the blast. A crater has also formed at the place where the explosion took place. It is suspected that the blast was caused by some explosive material. The blast has created a stir in the entire Manikaran Valley. SP Kullu Gurdev Sharma said that the police is probing the matter.
