The Incident
Nadda had reached Bilaspur on a one-day visit on the occasion of the start of AIIMS OPD on Sunday. During this, when their convoy started moving towards AIIMS after landing from the helicopter at Luhnu ground, the relatives of some police constables raised the banners of Justice for HP Police to give revised pay bands and their convoy was stopped. After this, SP Bilaspur was instructed to report on the whole situation within 24 hours. ADGP Ashok Tiwari was also directed to inquire into the situation on the spot, violation of the Yellow Book related to VIP protocol and other security guidelines.
