He said that the first decision of the State Government was taken for the welfare of the elderly. He said that an amount of over Rs 1,300 crore was being spent on providing social security pension to vulnerable sections of the society whereas only Rs 400 crore was spent during the tenure of Congress. He said that Sahara Yojana, Himcare, Jan Manch, Chief Minister Helpline-1100, Grihini Suvidha Yojna, Shagun Yojana etc. have really changed the lives of the poor and weaker sectionsJai Ram Thakur said that the Congress remained in power in the state for a long time but did not do anything new to ensure the welfare of the weaker sections of the society. He said that the Congress leaders are finding it difficult to tolerate the welfare schemes launched by the present State Government. These include lifting water supply scheme costing Rs 23.83 crore for village panchayats like Kandla, Pukhri, Dular, Sirkundi, Kiani etc., improvement and promotion work of water supply scheme of Gram Panchayat Khushnagri and Guwadi with Rs 4.59 crore, 2.85 of water supply scheme of Gram Panchayat Ghulai. Rs 1.68 crore water supply scheme for villages of Gram Panchayat Charodi, Rs 1.33 crore water supply scheme for villages of Gram Panchayat Lesvi, Gram Panchayats Sanwal, Shela Beri, Dehgram, Jhajjakothi, Thaneikothi, Kuthed Improvement and promotion work of various water supply schemes costing Rs. 24.77 crore, improvement and promotion work of Rs. 10 crore for various water supply schemes for village pancOn his arrival at Bhanjradu, hundreds of people gave him a warm welcome from both sides of the road from the helipad to the rally venue of Bhanjradu.
