    Heli taxi service will start from November 30 from five heliports in Himachal Pradesh. Heli taxi service is about to start from Kangnidhar heliport of Rampur, Baddi, Manali and Mandi including Sanjauli heliport in the capital Shimla. People will be able to reach these areas by air from Chandigarh and Dharamsala. With the start of a heliport in Sanjauli, a suburb adjacent to the capital Shimla, people will not have to go to Jubbarhatti Airport. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has been working to strengthen air connectivity in the state for a long time. Now from November 30, this dream project of his is going to be completed. Within two-three days, the schedule of heli taxi will be released from four heliports besides Sanjauli heliport in Shimla. The tourism department is busy in its preparations. The fare for availing air service for these areas is also being fixed. It may be announced this week. Saase Heliport in Manali will be used for heli taxis. New heliports have been built at Sanjauli, Rampur, Baddi and Kangnidhar of Mandi. With the start of these heliports, the tourists visiting the state will get a big relief.
