Congress is going to celebrate Kisan Vijay Diwas and hold a victory rally across the country today after the central government announced the withdrawal of all three agricultural laws. In Shimla too, Congress termed it as the victory of farmers and distributed laddus after celebrating. Congress party workers gathered at Sher-e-Punjab in Shimla. The Congress observed a two-minute silence for the farmers who were martyred in the first movement. After that, by distributing laddus, expressed happiness over the return of 3 agricultural laws. During this, Shimla Rural Congress Committee President Yaswant Chhajta said that after the defeat in the bypolls, the price of petrol diesel first came down and now the agriculture law has come back. He said that this is a victory for the farmers and the Congress party. Rahul Gandhi was already protesting against these laws and demanding withdrawal, Chhajta said that there is a difference in the words of this government, so till these laws are not withdrawn in the house, the farmers will continue the agitation. He said that BJP’s dictatorship has come to the ground after the defeat. In fact, after the rollback of petrol and diesel prices, this is the second major decision that the central government has taken after the public’s protest. Now the Congress is all set to cash in on all the issues including inflation.
