Congress MLA Vikramaditya Singh had accused the government of doing politics in Rampur’s Lavi fair, after which Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has given his reaction today. CM advised Vikramaditya Singh not to speak excessively and rejected his allegations outright.
Responding to the opposition’s allegation of politics for getting Lavi fair, the Chief Minister said that it is not proper to associate everything with politics. It is a trade fair whereas there is a difference between the fairs associated with Renuka and other divine traditions. He said that Vikramaditya is excited and speaking excessively. A ritual program has also been done in Renuka ji. The government is not against the fair, due to Kovid, rituals are being performed, which needs to be understood by the people of the opposition.
