A special camp was organized for SC families for SC families in Gram Panchayat Vasni, in which scientists of Mushroom Research Center Chambaghat encouraged this class of people to take up mushroom cultivation. On this occasion, Principal Scientist of the center Dr. BL Atri and Dr. Shweta Bijla distributed 10 kg seeds of Dhingri mushroom to 100 families and one spray pump each free of cost. Dr. BL Atri told that how farmers can increase their income by producing Dhingri mushroom. He also gave detailed information about the financial assistance provided by the department to the farmers including the method of production of Dhingri mushroom. Along with this, the method of making manure for growing mushrooms was also told. Sanjeev Tomar, head of Vasni Panchayat informed that during this special camp, Arun Thakur and Subhash Sharma entertained the people by presenting cultural programs. He thanked the scientists of the Mushroom Research Center for encouraging the villagers for mushroom production and for giving free seeds and pumps. Hundreds of people including former Zilla Parishad member Devendra Shastri, former Panchayat head Randeep Tomar, Swaroop Dutt, Panchayat Up-Pradhan Satendra, ward members Trishna Sharma, Urmila, Jeetram Sharma, Pushpa Devi and Omprakash participated in this camp.
