In the last 24 hours, five corona infected have died in Himachal. In this, 50-year-old and 80-year-old female elderly from district Hamirpur, 92 and 78-year-old male of district Kangra, 68-year-old man have died. While 149 new cases were found positive. The death toll in the state has reached 3773. Sampling of 8843 people has been done on Wednesday. On the other hand, 13 more students have been found corona infected in government schools of the state. Reports of six students have come positive in two schools of Shimla and Una districts. Apart from class IX to XII, now a student of class VI has also come under the grip of infection. The report of four students has been found positive in Shimla district, three each in Kangra-Bilaspur, two in Una and one in Hamirpur.Since the opening of the school from September 27 in the state, so far the number of corona infected students has reached 521. 335 students have been cured, while 160 are still active cases. On Wednesday, no student was found infected in any government school in Chamba, Kinnaur, Kullu, Lahaul-Spiti, Mandi, Solan and Sirmaur districts. The report of one student each of class VI, IX, X and 11 has been found positive in a school in Shimla district.
