On Wednesday, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took out the flag march in Mandi, the home district of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, and filled the election campaign in the state. Assembly elections are to be held in the state this year. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann stood on a special truck prepared for the roadshow and their convoy reached the historic Seri platform from New Victoria Bridge. Addressing the supporters from Seri Manch, Arvind Kejriwal said that AAP has eradicated corruption by forming the government in Delhi and Punjab. Now it’s Himachal’s turn.
Kejriwal said, it has been only 20 days since the AAP government came to power in Punjab and corruption has been eradicated. If you do not believe, then the people here should ask their relatives present in Punjab. No one takes bribe there. No one dares to ask for money. Whoever eats the money will go straight to jail. He said that now the keys of Himachal Pradesh are in your hands. AAP’s revolution will come in Himachal and the records of Delhi and Punjab will be broken.
He started the address which lasted for about five minutes by saying, you guys have made a heart. Said that was not expected to meet so many friends. We are minor people, we do not know how to do politics. We have to come to work, to open schools, to make electricity and water cheaper, to remove corruption. He was accompanied by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. In the helicopter, both the CMs reached the Kangani helipad of Mandi at around two o’clock. After an hour long roadshow, they returned at around 3 pm.
