Hearing on computer teacher recruitment case in Himachal Pradesh High Court has been postponed. The hearing has been adjourned for December 28. The matter was heard on Tuesday in a division bench of Justice Ajay Mohan Goel. The petitioners have challenged the recruitment rule of computer teachers in the court, under which the department has made five years’ experience as an eligible condition for recruitment. Administrative tribunals have passed stay orders on the computer teacher recruitment case since 2013. Since then computer teachers have not been recruited. Computer teachers have also filed a petition before the High Court urging the court to regularize their services. About 1300 computer teachers are serving in various schools of Himachal Pradesh since the year 2002.
