MLAs will ask 367 questions in the monsoon session of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. There will be 228 starred and 139 unstarred questions. The Vidhan Sabha Secretariat has received two information under Rule 62, three in Rule 130 and one under Rule 101. The opposition has prepared to surround the government on questions like rising inflation, unemployment, pathetic condition of roads, delay in DPR of approved roads, upgradation of colleges, schools, health institutions, filling up of vacant posts in various departments. Issues like tourism, parks, drinking water supply, prevention of drug addiction among youth, increasing criminal cases, solar energy, transport system and OPS will also arise.
The MLAs will also take up matters related to their constituencies. Vipin Parmar said in a press conference in the Vidhan Sabha premises on Monday that the 15th session of the 13th Legislative Assembly will start from 11 am on August 10. There will be a total of four sittings in the monsoon session. Condolence motions will be presented in the House on August 10. August 11 will be Non-official Members’ Day. On August 13, there will also be a session on Saturday. Out of 367 questions being asked in the assembly, out of 228 starred questions, 167 have come online and 61 questions have come offline. Of the 139 unstarred questions, 85 have come online and 54 offline. They have been sent to the government. Two information has been received under Rule 62, three in Rule 130 and one under Rule 101.
Only 70 people will sit in the audience gallery at a time,
passes will be issued with 50 percent capacity to sit in the audience gallery of the state assembly.
