Justice Sabina was on Monday appointed as the Acting Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court. Sabina is the senior-most judge of the High Court. This information has been given by the Ministry of Law. In a notification issued by the Department of Justice of the Ministry of Law, it was said that she will take charge from May 25 after the retirement of the current Chief Justice of the High Court, Mohammad Rafiq. The current Chief Justice Mohammad Rafiq is retiring on May 24.
