Due to increase in temperature in district Kinnaur in December, it has been hot. On December 18, the temperature of Kinnaur has been estimated at 8 and 9 degree Celsius. This is 5 degree Celsius more than last year. Last year, the temperature in Kinnaur district was 14.2 degree Celsius in December. According to information received from the Meteorological Center Shimla, the highest maximum temperature of 18.6 degree Celsius was recorded in Kinnaur district on December 4, 2011.
Temperatures above 17°C have been recorded in three years. 17.2 degrees Celsius was recorded on December 1, 2008, 17.6 degrees on December 6, 2015, 17.6 degrees Celsius on December 7, 2016.
16.6 degree Celsius on December 4, 2014, 15.8 degree on December 3, 2012, 15.4 degree on December 16, 2013, 15 degree Celsius on December 10, 2017. Kinnaur has recorded a temperature of more than 14 degree Celsius in December in the last 5 years. In the last 15 years, the lowest December temperature of Kinnaur was recorded at 10.4 degree Celsius on December 11, 2019.
