A major road accident has occurred in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. 12 people have died in the accident. Three people have been injured. The injured have been admitted to Regional Hospital Kullu. Police reached the spot as soon as the information was received. Along with the people around, the rescue operation was carried out. According to the information, a private bus has met with an accident at Shainshar, Sainj in Kullu district. The bus fell into a ditch below the road, about 200 meters from Jangla village. 12 people have died in the accident. One of the injured died in the hospital. A student was also among the dead. There three people have been injured. Tehsildar Sainj Hiralal has confirmed this. The injured included the driver and operator of the bus, besides a passenger. The accident happened around 8:45 am on Monday. The bus was going from Shanshar to Aut. There were about 20 people in the bus. Deputy Commissioner Kullu Ashutosh Garg said that the injured have been admitted to the hospital.
