    In Himachal, the police is continuously achieving success in nabbing the criminals involved in drug smuggling. In this episode, on Monday, the Mandi police team arrested a youth with a consignment of drugs. Police have recovered 510 grams of charas from the bus rider. Vivek Chahal, ASP Provisioner of Mandi Police has confirmed the matter. He said that the police has registered a case under the NDPS Act and has started further proceedings. During this the vehicles were being checked. At the same time a Punjab Roadways bus came from Manali side, on checking which a young man got scared seeing the police.On search of the youth on the basis of suspicion, 510 grams of charas was recovered from him. The bus was going from Manali to Patiala and the youth had to go to Chandigarh. The youth has been identified as Asif Abdul Karyum Khan son Abdul Karyum Khan, 30 years old resident of Badala Mumbai Maharashtra. Vivek Chahal told that from where the youth brought the consignment of charas and where he was taking it, it would be thoroughly investigated and criminals involved in drug smuggling would be sent behind the bars.
