Sudarshana Chandawat, wife of Vikramaditya Singh, MLA from Shimla Rural, Himachal Pradesh, has filed a domestic violence complaint against her husband and his family members in the Udaipur (Rajasthan) court. This complaint has been made on 17 October 2022. In the first hearing on November 17, 2022, the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Udaipur has issued non-bailable warrants to husband Vikramaditya Singh, mother-in-law Pratibha Singh, sister-in-law Aparajita, Nandoi Angad Singh and Chandigarh resident Amreen.
All the accused have been ordered to appear before the Udaipur court on Wednesday. Sudarshana Chandawat has filed a complaint in the Udaipur court under Section 20 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. It is alleged that after some time of marriage domestic violence was done to the complainant. The complainant has urged the court to restrain her in-laws from physical, mental and economic violence and pass orders to arrange a house for her to live separately.
Conspiracy to cause political harm, all allegations are false, will answer in court: Vikramaditya Singh
Shimla Rural MLA Vikramaditya Singh told over the phone that this is a well-planned conspiracy. All the allegations are false, the reply of which will be filed before the court. It has been exposed only during elections to cause political damage, while it is a family matter, which is still pending in the court. Refusing to issue non-bailable warrants, he said it was a legal process.
