Himachal Pradesh University has released the counseling schedule for admission to postgraduate degree courses in the academic session 202-23. The counseling schedule has been released along with the declaration of results on the last day of BA final year of undergraduate degree course. PG counseling will start from August 2. This will be completed by the end of August. Dean Studies of the University Prof. Kulbhushan Chandel informed the counseling schedule to the Vice Chancellor Prof. It has been released after getting approval from SP Bansal.
Here, Prof. Kulbhushan Chandel said that the counseling and interview schedule for MBA and MTech will be released separately. BTech final year result is not declared. The schedule will be decided only after the result is out, seats in the course will be kept vacant for the BTech students included in the merit issued after the entrance examination of other PG courses.
Schedule for PG counseling
On August 2 for MSc, Botany, Zoology, Biotech, Microbiology, Environment Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, M.Com, MA English, Geography, Hindi, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, Performing Arts Counseling for Rural Development, Psychology, MA Social Work, Social Studies, Physical Education, Sanskrit, Yoga and Visual Arts.
MPED counseling will be held on August 3.
MBA Rural Development, MA (Journalism and Mass Communication) LLB and MFA on August 4.
Counseling will be held on 4th and 5th August in Avalodge
Date of application for counseling extended till July 30
The deadline for applying for counseling to be held on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance examination by the university for admission to various PG courses in the academic session 2022-23 in the Regional Center of Himachal Pradesh University, Dharamsala, has been extended till July 30. Center Director Prof. DP Verma said that applications for admission to MA Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Political Science, History, Economics, Public Administration, MCom, LLB, MSc Mathematics, MBA courses can be applied till July 30 at the centre. Admission to MSc Zoology, PGDCA will be given on merit basis. For this also the deadline for application has been extended till July 30.
