    There has been a rebellion in the BJP in Rampur against the Jairam government’s decision to make Himachal Pradesh’s ABVP leader Kaul Negi the president of Himcofed. On Sunday, about 100 BJP leaders and workers, including former minister Singhi Ram, former Vis candidates Brij Lal and Prem Singh Darak, have decided to resign. Many senior workers of BJP Mandal Rampur have opened a front against the state government after the state government appointed student leader Kaul Negi associated with Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad as the president of State Cooperative Federation i.e. Himcofed. Said that all the workers are ready to resign from various posts. BJP leaders say that Kaul Negi has been given this appointment from the quota of Rampur assembly constituency. Vice President Roshan Dogra, Panchayati Raj Cell Nandlal, District Vice President Scheduled Caste Mohan Lal, Mahila Morcha General Secretary Gudi Devi, Village Center President Babu Ram, Birbal, Diwan Singh, Mangaldas, Vikas Lamba, Prem Joshi Prakash Azad, Kesari Dutt, Deep Kumar 100 including BJP leaders and workers close to the BJP have decided to make a mass resignation against this appointment. However, the resignations did not reach the Mandal President till late in the night. Along with this, from the state executive to the booth level, Panna Pramukh and other organization workers have also decided to resign soon. Under this, senior workers in Rampur on Sunday attended a meeting regarding this matter, Bharatiya Janata Party Rampur Mandal Vice President Sitendra Singh Miller, Yuva Morcha Rampur Mandal President Thakur Das Rathi and BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha Rampur President Devi Singh Bushehri were specially present. BJP leaders say that there is a lot of anger among the workers of the area after the state government handed over the command of president from Rampur quota to Kaul Negi, a resident of Kinnaur. Not all workers will hold back from giving mass resignations anytime soon.
